Abstract

In July 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Singkawang Municipality was 1.33 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.72.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.82 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.97 percent; housing, air housing, electricity and household fuel group at 0.18 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.83 percent; health group at 3.41 percent; transportation group by 1.17 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.24 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.88 percent; education group by 0.02 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.13 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.78 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Singkawang Municipality in July 2024 was 0.14 percent while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.13 percent.
