Singkawang Municipality has an inflation of 0,50 percent on December 2022

In December 2022, Singkawang City has an inflation of 0.50 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 113.11.

Inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by rising indexes in the eight expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced an increase in index from the highest was the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.11 percent; the health group by 0.67 percent; personal care group by 0.66 percent; the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.18 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.14 percent; transportation group by 0.11 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 0.08 percent; as well as equipment, tools and household routine maintenance group by 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, the information, communication, and financial services group, the education group, and the food and beverage/restaurant supply group experienced very small index changes, so they did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The calendar year inflation rate up to December 2022 is 5.96 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (December 2022 to December 2021) is 5.96 percent.
