Singkawang Municipality has an inflation of 0,55 percent on December 2021

In December 2021, Singkawang Municipality has an inflation 0.55 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.75.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index for the five expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced an increase in the index from the highest was the food, beverage and tobacco group by 1.35 percent; transportation group by 0.36 percent; health group by 0.19 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.09 percent; and the personal care group by 0.06 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were the information, communication and financial services group by 0.05 percent and the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group by 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, the clothing and footwear group; recreation, sports, and cultural groups; education group; and the group of food and beverage providers/restaurants experienced very small index changes so that they did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The inflation rate for the calendar year up to December 2021 is 2.55 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (December 2021 to December 2020) is 2.55 percent.
