Singkawang Municipality has an inflation of 0,20 percent on Maret 2022

In March 2022, Singkawang Municipality has inflation of 0.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.83.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index for the five expenditure groups. The expenditure group that experienced an increase in the index from the highest was the group of food and beverage providers/restaurants by 2.86 percent; health group by 1.82 percent; household equipment, equipment, and routine maintenance group by 0.95 percent; transportation group by 0.38 percent; and the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.36 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index included the education group by 0.50 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group by 0.48 percent; personal care group by 0.33 percent; and the clothing and footwear group by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the information, communication, and financial services groups as well as the recreation, sports, and culture groups experienced very small index changes so that they did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The inflation rate for the calendar year up to March 2022 is 1.01 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (March 2022 to March 2021) is 3.88 percent.
