Abstract

In November 2021 in Singkawang Municipality there was an inflation of 0.08 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.17.

Inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the index for the seven expenditure groups. The expenditure groups that experienced an increase in the index from the highest were the equipment, equipment, and routine household maintenance groups by 0.44 percent; personal care group by 0.24 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.14 percent; transportation group by 0.12 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.06 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.02 percent; and food, beverage, and tobacco groups by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the other four expenditure groups are the health group; recreation, sports, and cultural groups; education group; and the group of food and beverage providers/restaurants experienced very small index changes so that they did not contribute significantly to inflation.

The inflation rate for the calendar year up to November 2021 is 1.99 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (November 2021 to November 2020) is 2.63 percent.
