Abstract

In November 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Singkawang Municipality was 1.30 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.71.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in ten expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.20 percent; clothing and footwear group at 0.67 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.04 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.14 percent; health group by 2.51 percent; transportation group by 0.27 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.89 percent; education group at 1.24 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.91 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.93 percent. Meanwhile, the information, communication and financial services group did not experience significant changes in the index.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for Singkawang Municipality in November 2024 was 0.08 percent while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.12 percent.
