Economy of Singkawang Municipality in 2022 grew 5,05 percent

·        The economy of Singkawang City based on the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in 2022 reached IDR 11,931.62 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 7,330.03 billion.

·        Singkawang City's economy in 2022 will grow by 5.05 percent. GRDP per capita of Singkawang City at current prices in 2022 is 49.41 million rupiahs per year. From the production side, the Food and Drink Provision business field experienced the highest growth, reaching 13.68 percent.

·        The source of Singkawang City's PDRB growth in 2022 is supported by Wholesale and Retail Trade, Car and Motorcycle Repairs of 1.81 percent in terms of business fields. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was supported by household consumption expenditure of 2.24 percent.

·        The PDRB structure of Singkawang City in 2022 from a production perspective is still dominated by the wholesale and retail trade business fields; Car and Motorcycle Repairs by 19.81 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the PDRB structure of Singkawang City is dominated by the Household Consumption Expenditure component of 49.55 percent.
