Abstract

The HDI for Singkawang City in 2022 is 72.89 or a growth of 1.08 percent (an increase of 0.78 points) compared to the results of the previous year.
From a health standpoint, babies born in 2022 in Singkawang City have the hope of being able to live up to 72.46 years, 0.28 years longer than those born in the previous year.
In terms of education, in 2022 children aged 7 years in Singkawang City have the hope of enjoying 12.92 years of education or nearly the equivalent of the length of time it takes to complete education up to Diploma I level. This figure has increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year which reached 12.91 years. In addition, the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 years and over in Singkawang City has also increased by 0.29 years, from 7.90 years in 2021 to 8.19 years in 2022.
