In March 2021, the number of poor people (population with monthly per capita expenditure below the Poverty Line) in Singkawang City reached 11.03 thousand people (4.83 percent), an increase of 0.81 thousand people compared to March 2020 conditions which amounted to 10.23 thousand people (4.53 percent).
