Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) Briefing

In the context of fulfilling the need for accurate data and information related to policy making and development of the manufacturing industry sector, especially IMK, BPS conducts the 2019 Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey.

To prepare for the IMK survey activity, BPS Singkawang City held a 2019 Annual IMK Survey Officer Briefing on Tuesday (30/7) at the Singkawang City BPS Hall. With the Briefing, this officer is expected to be able to increase the understanding of officers in the process of conducting surveys in the field.

The 2019 IMK Annual Survey activity begins with the listing process to find out which households are trying to IMK in the selected Census Block. This listing activity was carried out on August 1-8, 2019. Then proceed with the process of enumerating the sample of households who tried at IMK which was carried out on September 11-30, 2019.

The IMK survey is expected to provide a comprehensive picture of IMK profiles and data covering the distribution of IMK, raw materials, labor, and so on. Several questions related to the application of technology were added so that it could be used by policy makers as input for the implementation of Making Indonesia 4.0.
